Social Media Marketing

I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank everyone who came out to the Creative Comrades event last night. It was my first presentation since high school, and I couldn't have asked for a more supportive crowd. Thank you for being there!

And a HUGE, special thanks to Aymie for everything she does for Creative Comrades and the Lake Havasu City community as a whole.

I also wanted to include a short list of some of my favorite resources. There is a never ending list of resources out there - as you already know. Below are just a few of my favorites:

The MFCEO Project. This is my favorite podcast to listen to. He is the kick in the pants that I need when a cup of coffee simply isn't enough. If you don't like curse words, stay away. The man is a hustler, spitting the brutally honest truth about business and life with more than a few f-bombs mixed in. Forbes wrote an awesome article about him and his use of social media in building his $100 million business

Gary Vaynerchuck is another good one. He's one of those guys that is constantly posting content - podcasts, blog posts, social media content - sharing his experiences in building multiple successful businesses. He speaks frequently about the power of social media.

Wonderlass.com. This boss lady is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to helping people build an online presence for their business or their blog. I took a workshop a while back from her (for free), and I received a downloadable pdf along with a live presentation and Q&A with her. I learned a ton about branding and social media through that. In fact, this is where I'm going to end this list, because the rest of the resources I was going to add - Canva, Design Seeds, Asana - are on her resource page as well!

Here's where you can download notes from last night's presentation:
